LLP CONCEPTS IS THE STUDIO PRACTICE OF LIAM LYNCH, TRANSLATING IMAGE, ENVIROMENT & NARATIVE INTO SPACIAL EXPERIENCE.

LLP Concepts extends Liam Lynch’s photographic practice into large-scale works designed for architectural space. Drawing on a diverse body of imagery developed over more than a decade, the studio transforms moments observed in the natural world into immersive wall-based artworks.
LLP Concepts extends Liam Lynch’s photographic practice into large-scale works for architectural space. Drawing on imagery developed over more than a decade, the studio transforms moments observed across natural environments and cultural landscapes into immersive wall-based artworks.
Positioned between photography, fine art and spatial design, the work explores how images can move beyond the frame and engage directly with surface, material and space.
Featured Work — Ghost in the Current
A resolved body of work exploring movement, atmosphere and immersion through photographic encounters with drifting forms.
The series expands fleeting moments through scale and material, shifting from image into spatial experience. Light, motion and translucency invite a slower engagement with surface and depth.

“The work shifts from image into environment, where surface becomes a site of experience.”
Upcoming Exhibition — Surfaces in Dialogue
Work by Liam Lynch will be included in Surfaces in Dialogue at Storehouse, an exhibition exploring the relationship between image, material and architectural space.
Featuring works from Ghost in the Current and Dracones et Equorum, the exhibition situates the practice within a broader dialogue around surface and spatial experience.

Janoora — Weedy Sea Dragon
A site-responsive concept developed for a private residence on the Mornington Peninsula, drawing on imagery captured within the marine environment of Western Port Bay.
Developed in part from the palladium print series Dracones et Equorum, the project reinterprets a body of work including the weedy sea dragon, translating it into a large-scale architectural work. The image shifts from momentary observation into a sustained spatial presence, connecting interior space with its surrounding coastal environment.
The Practice
Liam Lynch’s work originates in photography, capturing transient moments across natural and cultural landscapes. Through LLP Concepts, these images are reinterpreted through scale, material and spatial context.
The practice operates between photography, installation and spatial design, translating image into environment.
